🌟 2018 Antibiogram

Updated antibiogram for 2018 is available online. Please call Micro or Dr. Hoskinson with specific questions.

Daptomycin for S. aureus is shown as being 100% susceptible in the antibiogram but that is because we only result susceptible isolates per CLSI. Anything that is considered “non-susceptible” is suppressed. So these are the numbers that we calculated including the “non-susceptible” strains.
S. aureus: Dapto susceptible 87%
MRSA: Dapto susceptible 90%
Pip/Tazo for pseudomonas is another that gets suppressed so these are the numbers that we calculated
P. aeruginosa: pip/tazo susceptible 88%

Gram Positives 2018. *=Not tested/Suppressed Please NOTE: Isolates less than 30 should be interpreted with caution as there are insufficient numbers to give a ideal susceptibility antibiogram. Dapto on Staph aureus and MRSA are for MIC only.
Gram Negatives 2018. *=Not Tested/Suppressed Please NOTE: Isolates less than 30 should be interpreted with caution as there are insufficient numbers to give a ideal susceptibility antibiogram. ***= P.aeruginosa has a MIC of 99% susceptible; however, few resistant strains tested by KB method, show a susceptibility of 50% for TZP.
